Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Was it meant to be?

Today I had a Dentist appointment at 9:00 am.  I also had the interview at 11:00 am.  I was going to skip on having any work done to my teeth due to having the interview.  But while I was waiting for the Dr. to come in I got a phone call saying that they wanted to re-schedule the interview for Wednesday at 11:00 am because their front desk person was out sick and they were short staffed.  So I opted in to have the dental work.  This Dentist apt was for me to get a filling, but I've been having some MAJOR teeth problems.  I had a cavity that was visible on the upper left side in the back.  But that wasn't even the problem...the pain I've been having was on the right side in the back.  Come to find out I had a cavity on the back side of the tooth so that's why I couldn't see it.  Sooo I got both teeth pulled today.

After I picked up my youngest daughter from school today, We stopped to get some gas.  But before then I had to go to the ATM and get some money out.  I was running on fumes and was hoping I'd make it to the gas station before I ran out of gas.  I was also gonna go to the grocery store but I had to do this HUGE loop around because the grocery store was farther behind me than I thought.  We got to the gas station, I sent her in to pay for the gas.  While she was in the store an elderly man (who looked to be homeless) came up to me asking if I had any spare change.  I told him I had no change, so he asked me if I had any money...I told him to wait until my daughter came out of the store.  God had brought to my mind the $10 that was sewn into my ministry and that happened to be the change my daughter was bringing to me.  So I got out of the car and told the gentleman "I've been very blessed by God, and because He has blessed me so much I want to bless you."  I put in his hand the $10 and he began to weep.  I said God Bless you and as he walked away he must have said "thank you" about six times.  While I was pumping the gas God spoke to me and said "you can't just give him money and let him walk away."  So I waved at the man as he was getting on his bike and stopped him.  I said to him "Excuse me, I'm sorry I may sound weird (I had gauze packed in both sides of my cheeks) but I just had two teeth pulled.  Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior."  He assured me that he did.  I then asked if he minded that I prayed with him and he said he wanted me to.  So I grabbed him by his hands and began to pray with him.  AfterwardsI hugged him and told him I loved him and he began to cry, and again thanked me a few more times.

While my daughter and I pulled out of the parking lot again the Holy Spirit reminded me that if I hadn't been almost running out of gas and HAD to stop at the nearest pump, I wouldn't have been able to minister to this man who so desperately need to know God's love.  I thank God for using me to show him his love and his mercy and grace.  I give God all the glory and I pray that his man will find comfort in knowing that Jesus does love.

"A Christian blog which is full of truth and power. I love the way it does not "sugar coat" biblical truths as sometimes is often done. If you want to read the absolute truth of God's word, this is definetely the blog to visit, read and follow. "

"What a great blog, I am glad I found it. I am now following you. I loved reading your testimony. I was born again 3 years ago myself after a life full of sin and destruction. My life has changed dramatically and I devote my whole life to Jesus. I wish more would do the same. God bless you for your blog!"
