During this time..

I went to church this morning and we are doing a congregational fast called the Daniel fast.  I myself am not participating in the Daniel fast but am doing one none the less.  During these next 21 days I'm committing myself to God in prayer and fasting, in doing so I expect to hear from God for direction for the church and myself.  I want to be used in my giftings for the Lord, and I hope to grow my faith and dedication toward Him.  I will be seeking directions and answers to prayer.  I want to concentrate on my Savior and worship Him for all he is.  He is my all, my everything and I bless his holy name. 

Prayer - Lord I come to you humbly in the name of your one and only son Jesus Christ.  Lord I pray for direction during this time, I pray for your Mercy, your grace, your holiness, more of you Oh' Lord.  I pray that you would use me mightily for your kingdom work.  Lord I want to seek you more, I want to be so close to you that I can feel you breathe.  Put your words in my mouth that I may speak for what it is that you would have me say.  Father I pray that during this time that you would give me visions for the church, visions for my family, and visions for my ministry.  Jesus in all I give you all glory honor and praise!  Father I love you and I adore you and I thank you for giving us your son Jesus who died so that we can come to you freely.  I thank you for what you have done and what you are going to do in my life.  I have given my life to you, I pick up my cross and follow you Oh' Lord.  I am dead to self by alive in you Oh' God.  Rid me of the things that are in my heart and purge it out that is not of you.  Cleanse my heart, my mind and my body of things that are hindering me from doing your will.
